Shirley Taylor

Shirley Taylor was born: 11th March, 1969, Nassau, Bahamas.  She is the sixth child of 8 children: 6 brothers (one deceased) and one sister (deceased) born of Mr. Lernix Roy (deceased) and Emiline Estelle Taylor.  She did her early schooling at The Ridgeland Primary School (1980), S.C. McPherson Junior High School (1983), and The R.M. Bailey Senior High School (1986) where she served as a school prefect and also member of the Student Christian Movement.  In the early 80’s she participated in numerous church skits.  She participated in the Public Service Week’s (October, 2009) skit (written by Enith Darling, where the character Bessiemae “Boomba” Rolle was portrayed.)  Shirley is a born-again Christian and an avid believer.  She worships at The Bahamas Harvest Church, where she is actively involved in The Drama Club.  She is single and has (2) to children – daughter: Keshani Keandra Humes, 21 and son: Antonio Peter North, 17.
