The Gippie’s Kingdom Company is pleased to announce that it has inked a deal with the Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas (ZNS) to launch the first season of the highly anticipated Bahamian drama series, Gippie’s Kingdom. Mr. Edwin Lightbourn, General Manager at the Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas (BCB), is also pleased to be able to partner with the producers of Gippie’s Kingdom and is “eagerly awaiting” the premiere of the Bahamas’ first soap opera. Mr. Lightbourn believes that ZNS exists to provide an avenue for Bahamian creativity and looks forward to increasing the level of local productions in the Bahamas. Deputy General Manager, Ms. Kayleaser Deveaux-Isaacs, also applauded the efforts of the Gippie’s Kingdom team for “taking the time to break new ground”. Ms. Deveaux-Issacs stated that “ZNS is yours, this is your home”, reaffirming a positive commitment to the advancement of Gippie’s Kingdom and Bahamian television.
